5sfe connecting rods

I've got a set of Pauter x-beam connecting rods for my 5sfte build on order at the moment, and I was simply wondering if I really need them for my project... I knew you guys had said that the crankshaft will hold strong, but will the stock 5sfe rods be able to keep up as well.... if so, using them will save me around $800.. any input is appreciated

anyone have anything on this... I'll be waiting a minimum of 4 weeks for the rods I've ordered... so If I can simply use the stocks.... I'd still be able to cancel my order, and go ahead with the build.

I wouldn't want those wimpy stock 5S rods in a turbo application ...

the 5s-fe rods should hold down up to 200 to 250whp before letting go... The pistons on the other hand is a different story ... But might as well upgrade while you have the motor openned...

so.... up to 250 and they'll hold. I'd be happy with 250, but since I'm going to make this thing scary.. I'd better just go ahead and replace them with the ones I've ordered. that means more waiting, and... more time for me to scrounge up parts... but all I'm lacking now is a fuel controller\pump, and ANSA to finish my exhaust... speaking of fuel ... just to clarify something for me, I should use the fuel injectors from a 7mge.. or something along that line... it's a non-turbo supra that i got them from... they have the green top.... and what about those head studs... will my 3sgte studs fit my 5s application?
