Hi all, I am new here. I used to be on the MR2oc board, until my untimley demise. Well anyways, I am looking online where I can get a 3.3L 3mzfe to do a swap. Well any help would be awesome! Thanks
Because it's a 3.3L and it has vvt-i on the newer models. It's the same block the only differences is that it is drive by wire, and it is a longer stroke. Other than that it is the exact same.
im using the 3vzfe motor in my swap. and planning to put 8.5:1 compression pistons so i can use a turbo still debating on the turbo. i think the 3vzfe and the 1mz motors are the most common on the v6 swaps. so think you're going to do alot of expirementing. here are some links for the v6 mr2, great help might i add: http://bedellracing.home.comcast.net/ http://www.mr2mk1club.com/V6MR2.html
you should email these guys, i think they can be of great help.
good luck in your swap, keep us informed
sweet, keep me updated on how that goes! Let me know all of the problems you hit if there are any. OH and thanks very much for the links, I wanted to get them!
I don't think it was him that got me removed, I talked to some other dude via email. I basically got into a very heated argument and said some things I shouldn't have that were against the rules, so lo and behold, I am off the board. I am trying to leave that behind now, but ohwell it happened.
hey new to mr2just wondering todo a 94 v6 camry swap what mounts do i use? what tranny? what headers? and im guessing im using the camry harness sorry im a newbie
