other then price, why would you prefer a gen 2 over a 3?
Sorry if this is a really stupid question, I am not too fimiliar with the JDM engines.

Although the GenIII is a better engine with much more potential, I personally do not see it worth the extra initial expense and extra hassle trying to locate parts.

As many people have now jumped on the Gen III bandwagon, I suspect we are going to be seeing a lot more posts like this:

those are excellent points...especially tha parts issue. which should be a concern . and I have seen the usdm for much less as the Doc stated-even some with warranty's
