Do I need this?

I just had a swap done in my 91 MR2. I had the 2nd Gen motor straight from Japan put in my car with the Japanese ECU. I have the HKS SSQ blow off valve as well. When I had the shop do the swap, they told me I needed a recirculation kit to attach to the b.o.v. to put the air back into the air box to run better. They installed it and charged me $30 for that. Do I really need this because I can't hear my blow off valve and I got it to hear it, not for looks. What should I do?

If you want your car to run right you will keep the kit. If you don't really care and just wanna hear the sound.... take it out. Or you could always get an EMS.
