Idling prob

i know this is a common problem people post.

I have a 91 mr2 n/a

when it is warmin up the needle is on approx. 2000

but when it is all warmed up....it idles at 1500

obviously it is way 2 high...somebody says it should be idling at 800 rpm

what do i have to do to fix this problem?

Thank You.
