found stainles exaust manifold on ebay, do you guys think it will crack?
what is the main problem.

The general consensus in the MR2 community is that all SS ext manifolds WILL crack ... eventually. All of them.

I had a company contact me about testing theirs. They are confident that it will not crack. However, I have not heard from them in a week or two so I am not sure if that is still happening.

If I do not have the manifold in the next 2 weeks its not happening as I am wrapping up all of my winter work.

45 rwhp from an intake manifold maybe ... no way on the exhaust manifold.
You will see minimal, if any benefits from the exhaust manifold.

The company that contacted me about doing this test has stopped communicating ... I am moving on without them as Hyde is hopefully getting his winter work completed in the next 2 weeks or so.

They had asked about throwing the manifold on the car to see if it would crack and I was okay with that. Personally, I am content with the OEM manifold and was not looking forward to downtime when/if thier manifold cracked.
