Does anyone know of any local shops in the LA area that specialize in mr2's. More specifically, I'm thinking about buying my neighbors 91 NA MR2 5 spd. and I want to do a 3sgte engine swap. But how much is this going to cost me. Hopefully not $4000!

well.... if you include the cost of the car and engine... it will be more than $4k

I've seen them go for about $2k on ebay.... but you never really know what your going to recieve from them... I purchased a "rebuilt" head off of ebay, and it arrived in worse condition than the one on my spare engine!
but then again, I've had more positive experiences on ebay than negative... it's a gamble....
