I'm using an HKS turbo timer in my 2. I bought the harness for it which made it easier to install. The instructions were not real clear, so I called HKS to clarify some things which they did. the instructions want you to tie into the ecu, but I talked to them and wired it to the back of instrument cluster since mine also measures speed & rpm's. another issue is the safety feature that ties in to the parking brake so that when it's released the engine will shut down.

Well...just came across this and thought I'd open it back up.

MR2BAD...where exactly did you tie into the instrument cluster? I could call HKS...but just thought maybe you could help me.
