Really need help regarding this tut tut sound

I just bought the car (91T) just 1 week ago and it already caused so many heart aches. First the alternator goes out and was replaced, but now i'm getting a loud machine gun "tut tut tut" type sound coming from the engine. This sound is inaudible during idle and gradually gets louder as the rpm goes up. It seem to be coming from the oem bpv area.

what could be the cause of this? I am also noticing a bit of power loss although I cant fully confirm it since I dont want to push the engine with the sound it's making. The car has a jdm genII engine on it with at most 60K. Plug wires, caps, and rotors were just replaced. I always felt that my car is an special extention of me, so this problem is just devasting.

thanks a bunch.

compression was done in front of me before I bought the car. Came out to be 185-190 across the board. I'm hoping it's just the stock bpv and not a costly component of the engine. Thanks guys, i'll let you know what I find.
