2.6L V8? pretty small huh?

look at this v8 engine manufactured by powertec, 2.6L, smallest v8 ive ever seen... should have mde it a 3.0L at least.. think it will fit in an mkII mr2? i mean just fit in the engine compartment, i know the tranny would not.. nice sound though... anyway, just wanted to share this with you guys..

yeah, that's pretty damn small for V8. but 325bhp @ 7000rpm w/190 torque is unimpressive to say the least.especially the torque. at least at this point. I guess this is the proto type and they will be sporting higher numbers down the road.as far a fittting into an MR2?? hhhmmm?dunno V6 is already real tight. but I guess where there's a will , there's a way. especially if u got the bling... thanks for sharing.. very interesting. it'll be cool to see what they end up with...

I'd say just give them some time... we've all seen small displacement engines go crazy... ie... formula 1.
definately would be fun in a tubular frame car.
