USA Importing Help

Was wondering if anyone might know what conversions would be need to take a J-spec MR-2 from Tokyo back to America. I currently own a 92' G-Limited MR-2 (Jspec) with about 49,000Kilometer. Realy wont to bring this thing back with me its got Recaro seats and a 400Dollar head unit and I got this for $1,000 Dollars. Nice car just wish it was Turbo. But any suggestions would be helpful.

If you're stationed over there ( marines/navy ) you can get the personal property office to help you ship it. Even if they can't/won't ship it directly you could get it on a ship going underway from yokosuka to hawaii or washington.

You should contact Sportivo Concepts. He is a member here and has a website. I know he has experience importing cars. I plan to ask him for help as well. I leave for Japan in May. Are you stationed in Yokota?
