Arrow mr2 non turbo swap help.

Hey guys, my friends and I recently replaced a non turbo motor in a 91 mr2. We hooked up everything and one of the friend wired the positive starter wire into the ground, causing it to fried and i replaced it. Then we tried to start it, but it wouldn't, there's are clicking sounds at the turn of the key, but the motor doesn't start. When the key's at ACC--there are the usual icons of battery, oil, handbrake, etc. if that helps. We've checked all wirings and everything is properly in place. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Si

The motor doesn't turn over. The starter was replaced right after the miswiring. Thanks for your reply.

Yes sir. We spent the whole saturday freaking working on this car. There's basically no room to work inside the mr2 engine bay. . I guess toyota thought that this car was not made to break down. btw, this is our first toyota swap.
