Australia Hint that me car may not be standard

I was working on me car a s/c 88 mr2 targa. I always thought me car was quiks. With a dodgy auto gearbox and a engine that needed serive would beat most things on the road including some 15 sec 20v rollas. The engine and gearbox are bad cause just bought the car and bringing up to scratch with a bit of $$$ due to bought it cheap.

But i was given another hint that it maybe a bit quik when i tryed to service the engine but due to idiots at the local repco stuffed up my order and could not get me the full list of things i wanted to service so could only do the plags. So pull the plugs out and find some hks f30's in there. I was thinking that they are some expensive plugs due to me just putting some ngk's in there about all 4 plugs cost about the same as one hks plug.

Any car with an auto transmission is not as quick as the standard counterpart.

I dunno if its because you're australian but I could barely understand what you were trying to say..

Yeh what he is trying to say is that he thinks he has got a little more power than a stock MR2. This is due to the car having a number of problems (old fluids/plugs/wires) and still beating a number of cars that *should* have beaten him. His hopes were lifted when he found top quality HKS plugs in his car(why put great plugs when you only need a little above standard?). He has high hopes that his engine has been moded and he got a bargan for his cheap MR2 targa
