I own a Fiero, and I want an MR2 also!

Hey, I own a 1986 pontiac Fiero GT and for a long time I've wanted a MK1 MR2 also.

I hate to sound like a noob around here, but can you guys show off your modded MK1 MR2's? I'm more interested in finding out what kind of mods you can do to them.

What does that cowl hood do?

The cowl hood scoop is vented only right above the radiator. So it does two things:
Vents air out from under the front of the car at speed for better handling, and helps vent the hot air away from the radiator at stops.

For the suspension, I used Suspension Techniques lowering springs up front and adjustable coil-overs in the rear.

As far as the drivetrain:
It's a fairly stock 2.8L V-6 with the following mods:
Bored Throttle Body
Cold Air Intake
Ported Exhaust Manifolds
No cat.
High flow muffler
Ported intake manifold
Full MSD ignition system
55hp shot of Nitrous Oxide

So, not a whole lot done, but enough to make it fast (For a 20 year old car).

So, is MK1 the correct designation for a first gen. MR2?

If so, where are they? Doesn't anyone on this board own one? If not, where can I go to see some modded MR2's?
