Worth the cash?

I'm looking into buying a 3sgte turbo manifold and downpipe very soon. How much would be a good price for these and how much horsepower should i expect?

MRQturbo, what are you basing that you wil not gain any HP from a manifold on?
I would agree if we are talking the CT26 turbo set up, but if the rest of the system is designed to flow (changing the VE of the engine) I do nto see how a well designed manifold could not add something.

Granted, I would not venture a guess if the gains are worth it or not. Dunno.

dmarvin3, why are you looking to replace yours?
There are better places to spend your $$ if you are looking for performance gains.

I just received a tubular manifodl this morning (was delivered to my work).
It will be installed within the next week or two, but my dyno results will have a lot of other changes ~ not just the manifold.

I've been seeing stainless turbo manifolds with ss 3" downpipe for $350.00 on ebay from ssautochrome. the price is right but I'm not convinced they are hearty enough to take the heat and not crack sometime down the road. I'm dying to get one, but I think I'm gonna wait to see how the Doc's proto type works out. If it holds up to what he puts it thru at the track, that will be the way I go. I'm trying to be patient. not that there's any hurry. but in the end if it turns out to be what I'm looking for, it'll be worth the wait. i would hate to spend the money, the labor of install(whether I do it or pay someone), only to have it crack and then start all over. not to mention down time
