We do not know the owner of the car yet (so we do not know if it is an mr2ocer or not) ... police are not releasing names until the body is found.
Someone on that board said it was 20 year old asian guy.
kasimmmm, because of the mid-engine layout, the MR2 tends to oversteer in turns and the behavior a typical driver would do to "help" the sitation actualyl makes it worse in an MR2. Typcially if a person gets into troublethey want to slow down or brake ... this can be a trgic mistake in an MR2 in a turn. It is far better to squeaze a bit more gas into it and point it where you want to go.
If the story is accurate that they were racing downhill and into a turn, he easily could have been going to fast to ever pull it back.
that is seriously awesome of u to do man. It makes everyone more aware of how dangerous driving, especially mr2's are. The more I read, the more aware i am of how i should drive and not treat my 2 just like a toy.
it is very unfortunate for this mans death, as well as all the others that have died
