Don't know about stock MR2's, but that's a relatively safe boost level with an intercooler. You could probably push more boost, but stock that sounds about right.

stock boost is 7.1 to 11.8 i think. but you can run up to 15 w/ no problems. atleast that's what i've read on mr2oc and im at 15 and have no problems.

the T-VSV has a high and a low boost setting... 7 to 8psi is low and 10 to 11psi is high and thats stock...

Before you run 15, I would suggest figuring out why you are only at 9.
You should be able to touch just past 11 psi with a stock MR2, unless the ECU is limiting you via the TVSV for some reason.

I know that my boost is not consistent, sometimes I get 6psi sometimes I get 9psi sometimes I get 10psi, is it suppose to be consistent?
