Wires from the trunk to the dash?

Hey everyone, I'm wondering if anyone has attempted to run some wire(s) from the trunk to the cash compartment. I need to run wire from my ECU and tail lights to my center console (where the cd player is). I also need to replace the cable for the trunk release, since the original cable was torn apart before I got the car.

Any pointers on this would be greatly appreaciated.

I just ran my wires through the ECU Harness grommet in the trunk, heat shrunk all of my wires, and ran them away from the motor on the drivers side, then came in... hmm.. i cant remmeber if it was a hole, or another grommet.. but its behind the drivers seat.. have to take off the center console peice, and then you can move the rear wall carpet out of the way. It's really not all that difficult. Just take your time.. and try to seal up as much of the grommet as you can after you put your wires through.. you dont want a leaky trunk or cab

For my water injection I ran along the drivers (left) side of the car....

Take out your...
- trunk carpet
- Subwoofer box (i think thats what it is... I have 6x9's sitting on top of mine... you just have to move it up a little bit)
- Rear side panel (where the engine lid release is)
- Plastic panel that runs the length of the rear window
- Plastic panel that runs along foot of the drivers door and leads up to the hood release

That will give you a pretty good view of where the wires need to go that way. Just run them through the existing grommets through the engine compartment.

For my boost gauge and a/f gauge (aka.. rice light)

I have these ran under the stereo... heres a pic....

For those I just took of those metal pieces that are in the front of the engine bay... there are like 3 nuts holding it in.... and ran through the grommet right there. Remove the shift boot, plastic piece that goes around it, ash tray, entire center piece... you will then see your shifter cables, a loom of wires (stereo i think) and a grommet going to the engine bay. I ran them both through that gromet and around the shifter cables... under the ash tray... and up into where the stereo sits. I've been running like this with the boost gauge for over a year.... so far so good. I was originally worried about the shifter cables being in hte way... but they are fine.
