Question Why does my clutch feel so empty??

I bought my 1991 MR2 turbo with 47000 miles and it had gotten a new clutch and either a slave or master cylinder, but when I step on the clutch it feels so soft and empty like as if it were disconected. Another thing, whenever I rev it at high rpm's whether in 1st, 2nd or up to 5th gear, when I let go of the clutch, it sorta stays stuck for a second as if I still didn't let it go....???????? Anyone have any idea? I heard it might be one of the cylinders, the throwout bearing, the pedals needs to be adjusted or something in there needs to be greased, please any help appreciated.... Thnx guys

Sounds like something is up with the master cylinder OR the sytem needs to be properly bled.
