2nd Generation An update on my swap ^_^

Ok, here it is as simple as i can say it....

I had originally intended to do a japanese gen 3 swap into my busted ass MR2... but after realizing how difficult it would be to replace nearly anything on that engine, i decided to go with a gen 2 since it shares parts with the US spec. (plus it was a grand cheaper)

I've already sent Dave from PA autoracing the price of the clip plus half the install, and im number two in line to pick my clip.

in addition to the 225 hp motor, lsd tranny, and everything i need for the swap, im getting:

- spec stage three street/strip clutch
- ALL new ignition components
- ALL new fluids
- Walbro (255 lph?) in tank fuel pump

A friend from VA is comming to pick my car up in a month and take it to PA where it will sit until about june (maybe july) when it will get a new soul.

Just wanted to keep you guys posted, im excited... but it seems so far away....

Sounds like fun!

ishcoleobo- well i had read somethign earlier posted by J&H to the effect that he loved it, and had never driven a smoother clutch before... correct me if im wrong here Jeff better now than after its too late.

keck03- i agree, so far i have nothing but good things to say about dave and his work... when choosing a clip with goodies, i need to balance previous mods with reliability... odds are that a clip with aftermarket mods has been driven harder than one without... so i have some planning to do

in any case, i cant wait to get my car running again.
