B-Pipe removal...

I read that you can't take off the stock b-pipe without basically putting the car on a lift. Is there really no other way to remove the stock downpipe, b pipe and muffler without using a lift?

Yea... there is. I did an entire turbo swap in my garage.... just takes a little patience to get that b-pipe off.

You have to jack the back of your car up REALLLLLY high to get the bpipe to clear the ground. Took me about an hour to figure it out.... but.... if you look at the BGB... there are some good directions.

I checked the BGB, and all aI could find was this page: http://www.mr2-tech.com/bgb/mechanic...ust_system.htm But that doesn't have directions on how to remove the exhaust system, just breaks down the different components of the exhaust. What section would it be in?

or, if you can't lift the car high enough, you can just lower the xmember.

Yea.... its not in the exhaust section. I'll check when I get home for you. It was in a weird spot.
