Everyone always talks about the performance advantages and disadvantages of this engine...but what about things like regular maintanence? When changing oil filters, belts, and other engine parts like alternator etc, do you need to buy these parts specifically for the jdm 3sgte? Or are there no differences, and therefore everything made for the usdm 3sgte will fit?

If you have a 2nd gen JDM engine..... everything is interchangable with the USDM engine. Not saying everything is the same.... but it can be exchanged. If you get a 3rd gen motor... that is a different story.... things are much harder to fine... because they were never sold in America (EDIT: by America I mean North America.... not just the US. I wouldn't want to leave out you lovely Canadians .
