Unhappy 1991 MR2 with a locked up engine problem

Hey Guys,
I have an MR2 turbo (91) with an engine that won't turn. Tried to push start it and it just slid on the tires. Tried to crank it with the camshaft bolt and it wouldn't turn. Has a relatively new 3SGTE engine installed about 3k miles ago. Going over a speedbump it just sputtered to a stop (like it was out of gas) and it never started again. Won't even crank now. Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
GRillfaCE.

Starter doesn't click at all. Haven't tried taking the spark plugs out. I know it won't push start and it won't turn over by hand, maybe with the spark plugs out it would turn over due to the compression loss. Is that your thought?

yeah go slow is all though if you hear bad noises stop. reason i ask about mileage on the engine is if i was properly broken in. other things you wanna check is that is there spark getting to the engine, air, and fuel. these are the three things in order for it to run.

would be more fuel pump than a battery cause a charging light should have come on for that reason of the altenator not doing its job even if the wire was broken the light still should have come on for a short circuit.

Engine has a around 30 thousand on it, it was a swap. I don't know if it was properly broken in or not. I bought it as a dead car. Battery is good. Wouldn't you be able to turn it over if something minor like the gas pump was bad? I don't know jack about these engines. I grew up working on Hondas.

take out the plugs and try turning it over by hand then. if it will have someone help listen for the starter to engage or not. it may just be that or more. also check to see if you have any diag codes if you can. inspect your ignition cap, rotor, spark plugs, and wires too.

Where would the codes appear on a 91? Flashing light sequence somewhere? I had a hell of a time finding the engine compartment latch (behind the driver seat) this afternoon!

connect terminals TE and TE1 of the connector using a paper clip or some form of wire. the check engine light will flash and there should be a pause and you'll want to count the flashes. if there is no code it will flash on and off 2 times per second
