Question Spec Stage 3 Clutch

Hello all, my question is about these clutches and their streetability... how do these perform at the track, on the street, and in any other conditions you can give me?

J&H, i remember reading something about how you liked them on some thread, but i cant find it in the search box...

As of right now i am getting this clutch with my swap, but i can chang that if necessary.

Thanks guys

ive never driven a car with a race clutch but my understanding is that they "bite" kinda hard to be street driven, they also should wear slower than a regular clutch (at same hp/tq). I would only recomend one if youre making serious hp and youre tearing up stock clutches

I loved my Spec Stage 3.
It was much easier to drive than the OEM clutch ~ much more comfortable pedal.

I have now moved up to a Spec Stage3/Stage5 combo clutch.

I personally didn't like the Spec stage 3. It was a little too touchy for my tastes. I am going to buy the stage 2 when mine goes out. You may like it though... traffic would be a nightmare if you daily drive your two tho.

i have a spec stage 2. smooth engagement. only slightly heavier than stock. usually forget that i have it (which for daily driving around town is a good thing). havent tried "pushing" it yet though b/c only a couple of hundred miles on it so far.

oh and drifting dane, if you want any recommendations for the swap pm me here or on mr2oc. i got my car back from mr2 warehouse sunday nite.
