Exclamation mostly fixed-- "sways violently post"

ok.... anyone remember my "sways violently at 100+" post?? well I discovered most of the problem. I had replaced my front passenger strut cartridge around january... and everything was going good until I noticed this "swaying"... it had only gotten worse until I actually had time to check it out. turns out the ring-nut that holds the strut cartridge into it's housing on the steering knuckle had become loose... um... it came completly unscrewed . and the strut cartridge was simply "floating" up and down. the car was supported only by the spring... a lowering spring at that. but I fixed it AGAIN.... and it still shimmys a bit, but I think I might have to replace the ball joints, and parts to the steering system... but for now, one more disaster was averted.

the mr2 is really picky on its suspension, everything has to be tight and right otherwise it'll sway. Mine used to sway at like 50-60mph and on. Scary to drive, one bolt was loose, not even close to any area i had looked at.

well I wasn't given any of those "washer dealies" for the strut.... but in my case the whole friggin' rotating wheel assembly was just hanging there! a little disturbing. but hey new news... I have just completed spraying the base coat for my mr2... marlboro RED... sunday morning I have to mask off the areas of the base coat from the glass down... that way I can spray the second coat of jet black.. kind of a two-tone job.... a little design I like to call "you'll see".

YEAH I SENT PAYMENT WITH PAYPAL 4 DAYS BEFORE XMAS BUT THE BASTARD KEPT STRINGING ME ALONG.. 1ST HE WENT OUT OF TOWN, NEXT HE SUPPOSEDLY SHIPPED THEM VIA UPS AND SENT ME BOGUS TRACKING #'S WHICH WERE NOT EVEN OF CORRECT SERIES AND AFTER EMAILING HIM HE SAYS HE WOULD CHECK #'S WHICH WERE IN HIS CAR NEXT DAY..3 DAYS PAST BEFORE I HAD TO EMAIL HIM AGAIN, NEXT HE SAYS ITEMS WERE RETURNED AND HE WOULD HAVE TO RESHIP, NOW HE SHIPPED VIA FEDEX WHICH BURNT MORE TIME. I STILL RECEIVED NO ITEMS. AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO EMAIL HIM I FINALLY GET A RESPONSE FROM HIM THAT THE -COWL & PASS FENDER WAS RETURNED BUT NOT THE TURBO ENGINE LID- HE WOULD RESEND THOSE TWO AND REFUND SOME $ FOR THE LID. I ATTEMPTED TO SALVAGE SOMETHING FROM THE SITUATION AND AGREED AND ASKED TO HAVE $ REFUNDED TO MY PAYPAL. THIS WAS OVER 2 MONTHS AGO NOW AND I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ITEMS, $ OR HEAR FROM--Pontiac5oh-- NOT RETURNING MY EMAILS--- BUT HE IS ON MR2OC SELLING MEGA SH*T, I HOPE HE DOES'NT SCREW ANYONE ELSE OVER---- BIOTCH!!!!!!!!!!

since you paid through paypal you have a "buyer guarantee" since you never recieved any items you should file a complaint with paypal immediately. and use that <<<(non-reciept of goods) as your reason for filling the complaint. and they (paypal) will ask for tracking numbers... from you and\or 5oh.... and once they discover that the ID's are bogus... your should be issued a full refund. hope they come through for you.... but if all else fails, just add them to your list of bastards to take out if\when you ever go crazy.

u should really continue to address your issues with pontiac on the main board...that would prolly put more pressure from him to resolve them before he is allowed to continue to sell products on there....good luck with this.....
