My 91 MR2 NA:

the rim around my headlight works...but the main part dosen't.

i tried to flash the high beams and it dosen't shine either

so are both my headlights dead or there are wiring problems??

check the fuses.....then try changing the head lites also....then i would check for wiring issues...get yourself a seal bulb conversion kit and some decent after market bulbs and you'll find that lighting will be ten times brighter than stock.....
