Ok...as you guys know i bought a 91 MR2 NA.....kid didn't know shit about the car......i ran the vin through DMV and there were no Liens....so i didn't think there is anything wrong.

But now.....he said the headlights didn't work.....so i finally took the time to look into it...and when i looked in the fuse box......both fuses for the Left and Right Healight weren't there!!!!

I bought it for $1.99 at auto barn and then it worked!!

But what i think is fishy is that....something so simple so obvious....why wouldn't he know?!

I feel there was something shady about this...what you guys think?

maybe the kid was just totally clueless.. and wanted to get rid of it.. how much did you give for it?

not bad... if it cleared the DMV, I would think you're alright...but like u , I'd be wondering too. maybe not reported stolen- yet..was his name on the title? did he have ID to prove that was even him? hope it works out for you..

That's just really odd, if the fuses were missing someone had to have known. Those headlights would have never worked with those fuses not there. They don't just 'fall out' and even if one did, the other wouldn't have....

yea exactly what im saying........well he said it was his cousin who signed the title for him....so i have the title now...he got his cuzin to sign it.....

i dunno....at least im not the only one with this feeling

Would it make you feel better if you sold the car to me at a substantial loss but at least know you got most of your money back?
