short shifter

I'm looking at installing a short shifter on my 91 NA and was wondering if it is better to go with a name brand like B&M or TRD or any one of the number of cheaper one's offerred on ebay. I don't need it for racing but have that part of the car opened up right now. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I have a TRD one as well and i love it to death, its around $100, as are most "brand name" short shifters. Ebay ones are about $30 from what i remember... as far as i know the ebay ones work fine... (info from a friend)

Twos r us makes a few different short shifter 'kits'. http://twosrus.com .... thats what I would personally buy.

i second the trd one also....second choice would be BM....

I recommend a 93+ shifter. It's much much cheaper and best of all it's OEM! You can always "shift" to whatever knob you want on there.
