Cheapest Brake Vendor

I need new brakes all around, and want something with good stopping power, but don't need to warm up. The Hawk HPs have come highly recommended, but I don't know of any place to get them cheap. Any other suggestions on pads or places to get them?

what size rotors are you looking at? 2 piston calipers? 4 piston calipers? drilled/slotted?

Sorry, just brake pads, not rotors and calipers. And it's the stock 91 calipers.

Yeah, the Porterfield RS-4s or something like that. But I thought those were more track-oriented pads that needed to be heated up.

I dunno..I figured if it's good enough for the track?. Pads are always warmed up just driving the car with it touching the rotors all the time.. maybe the Doc can elaborate.....

I hope so...because I know there are a few pads out there that need the brakes slammed from like 40 to 0 a couple times before they are hot enough to perform in their efficiency range.
