Replacing Factory Stereo

My friends new 91 MR2 turbo has the factory cd player, and i have read that the aftermarket wiring harness to hook up a new deck is hard to find. Is this true? I have a sony deck that i was going to sell him and i have a wiring harness from a 92 camry that i thought would work, but i guess it would only work if he didn't have the factory cd player. The Toyota harness i have has two things to plug into the stock wiring harness, one with two and one with six plugs (i think) Can we use this harness or not?

Also, how does the dash come apart? In my accord it was really easy, but i have never taken an MR2's dash apart. Once we get the stereo in, will there be space around the stereo that needs to be filled in with a trim kit?

Thanks in Advance for any replies.

in my case swapping the decks was a bitch! i ended up running 3 seperate amps though... lol

u'll have to bypass the factory amp witch is located behind the drivers side seatbelt behind the pannel... kinda have to dig for it

i'm sure someone on here has a step by step link or something for this...
