The Side Moldings...

my car is red and i wanna paint the side black molding on it red also....can u take them off? cuz i tried and its all sticky underneeth... or do u have to leave it on the car? i dunno how u'd do it hehe :-? any ideas?

u can paint them on the car..but u wont get proper coverage on them..its best to have them off the car.....

mouldings

yes they can come off to be painted but they are screwed in....remove the inner pannels from your car to get to the nuts....you will need to get in at the liner in your trunk, remove the door panels, panels behing the seats on the sides of the car and I am not too sure how you get at the ones for the front quarter panels...under the hood I assume. If you take it to any body shop I am sure that they can help you out....I had mine taken off and painted when it was in the shop...best to have em taken off and done right
