Someone in Bay Area HELP!

hey everyone,
anyone live in the bay area? san francisco, dalycity? anywhere near there? This is story. About four months ago i started planning doing my 2nd gen jdm 3sgte swap into my 91 n/a. I ordered a package and everything i needed from this company in canada. Then i needed some help to put it all in. SO i ask another mr2 specialist if he knew anyone that could do the work. He recommended this one guy who he said was an "mr2 specialist" and that "he's done many jdm swaps before". so i call him up and everything goes smooth. So i drop off my car at his shop and send everything needed to swap over to his shop also. during the four month process ...hes keeps calling me and telling me i'm having probs with my ecu and wiring harness...either they don't fit each other or he doesn't know which is the wrong component or what not...so i order another jdm ecu with a matching wiring harness..now he calls me once again and tells me the ecu works well with the wiring harness, but the "connectors" don't plug right to the engine? i don't know what he means, so i tell him "ok what do i need to buy now in order to fix this?" he says he doesn't know and that hes thinking of giving up and sending me back everything with the car. So anyone out there please help!!! any experts out there that can check out my engine and see exactly whats wrong? or any kinda help would be great!! cuz at this point..after four and a half months of frustration and anger...i'm at the point where i've already gone crazy! Thank you to anyone who replies...
