I'm sure that is possible. I mean, if a tranny swap is possible, why not swap that tranny in... if you are going to spend like $4K, what's another $1K - $2K?? Its worth it if you can find a source!

2002 Toyota just came out the sequential manual for MR-2 Spyder in US. Man I would really like to get that tranny in my Camry.

confusing aint it?
If i put "MR2 Turbo" it'd be gay cuz i don't have a MR2 yet.
So i put "twinturbo" cuz threr's no such thing. but for some reason some ppl do think there is such thing...
Hahaha, put always ask me if my car is twin turbo. They get confused by the "Twin Entry Turbo" plaque on the motor.

Multi-cylinder engines have ranges in which there is some overlap in the
exhaust valve opening timing of one cylinder and its sequent cylinder. This
can cause interference to the exhaust gas flow where the exhaust gases from
the two cylinders join and results in exhaust energy loss in the turbocharged
engine. Also, cylinders which have just finished the exhaust process are
affected by the high back pressure of the exhaust initial process, so that
high pressure gas remains behind more easily. This hinders smooth intake flow
to the engine.
This exhaust gas interference is eliminated in the 3S-GTE engine by providing
two exhaust ports, for cylinders No. 1 and No. 4, and for cylinders No. 2 and
No. 3, together with two scrolls inside the turbine housing. This new design
increases the engine's low-speed performance and acceleration response.

there is no such thing as a TWIN TURBO'ed 4 cylinder engine.. i have seen it done on a 20v 4A-GE (HOT STAFF JAPAN), but why?.. stick on a super tiny blower from a bike or something to prevent lag from a huge mammoth sucker??
anyways.. twin entry and twin turbo are 2 different things...
well i will go crank up my non-exist Triple-Charged 4A-GE... just for complications sake it will be supercharged, then twin turboed..i will have 0 lag, and maximum PSI at any RPM.......just like a RB26DETTSC i saw a whle back at the tokyo auto salon 2001.....
if someone had the gawl to work out the fuel maps then let me know
thanks
andrew
