side scoop

Just wondering if anyone knows of a website or a company that makes the open side scoop, instead of being split in the middle. It LOOKS to be a panel easily removed, however, I've searched high and low but haven't found anyone that makes such a product.

Aeroware makes that, but they are hard to find these days. Your best bet is checkinig out the "parts for sale" forum at MR2OC.com

Good luck!

I'm talking about the scoop just forward of the rear wheels. I just think it looks way hotter if its a single hole.

He is speaking of the Aeroware side vents. They are discontinued, but you can still find a few floating around here and there. Beware of replicas. Sometimes they don't fit right.

Carcatz - Yes sir, that's my car. I live in New Bedford. That picture was taken at an autox at Moore airfield in Devens, MA. I'm on the cape every first weekend of the month for my National Gaurd drills. Otis Air Force Base (camp edwards).

And I go to the Hyannis mall alot to play Initial D!

I'm making my own. It seems to be a project that keeps getting pushed back. I got a set of vents for free and started hacking away at them. All I have to do is fiberglass up the holes and they will be good to go. I'm not going to put them on my car unless I get it painted tho because that would look extremely tacky. And my paint isn't in good enough condition to try and match them.

The Aeroware vents were originally made and sold by www.standres.com .
As far as I know, they are still being sold: http://www.standres.com/products/29-1.cfm

In the aeroware kit the side skirt and vent are two separate pieces.
The Kaminari kit has them as one big unit.

Modifying the stock vents is NOT the same thing as these vents.
The Aeroware vents physically stick out another 1" or so into the air stream more than the stockers.

I have the aerowares on Jekyl (actually I ahve 6 pieces of the 7-piece aeroware kit).

I have the full 7 piece Aeroware kit... besides the TRD GT2000 Wide Body kit, it's my favorite body related-mod for the MKII MR2.
