Air Intake Opinion

Is it really worth it to get an aftermarket K&N filter and air intake? Does anyone notice any gains when they put it on their 2nd Gen NA (I have a 92' NA)? What do you guys think of these? Is it worth the money, should I get it from somewhere else, or should I just leave the stock system on:

Also.. I want to get some clear corners. What do you think about this deal?

Thanks for any responses...

I put a really cheapo e-bay intake on my 91' N\A and it made it sound a lot more throaty, especially when I give it some gas. I'm very happy with it. It makes it look a lot better also with all that maze of an airbox its got going on.

regardless or not.....intake would b a better option in my opinion. Intake never really give you that much of a difference besides maybe some cold airs. But, u always get that sexy ass sound and since itz a mr2....u can hear the intake suck that air right behind you. So i suggest you get it...itz more satisfaction then performance to my opinion.

at best u might pick up a horse but it will improve throttle response and sound more throaty.. if u want to see any gains from it, it will have to be in concert with some headers...get it... get a K&N filter though
