2nd Generation getting an mr2!

hey im getting an mr2! first of all the mr2 is my dream car, now being im saving up for a house i dont have that much money... ill beable to afford a mr2 N/A here soon so i wanted your opinion is the nonturbo worth it even? first let me list the reason i want it 1 its my dream vehicle, 2 i want a car, 3 it will be faster than my 4cyl auto pickup and 4 i want it as a project,, as long as it will outrun a standard ricer in a civic si im happy.

now being i want it as a project it probably wont even be insured or driven for the first few mo of its life with me, so whats the verdict? how good is it stock? what potential does it have? or would i be better off saving up and purchasing a turbo mr2?

thanks alot guys its really appriciated

Save up and buy a turbo. NA will only getcha so far.... usually not enough to make most people happy.

I love my na, but then again, I haven't driven a turbo, so I probably don't know what I'm missing. The na is a LOT of fun to drive, smooth power delivery & wide powerband.

The deuce looks better than just about anything in the reasonably priced import world. Have fun!!!
