Greddy BCC

would a greddy boost cut controller be better than a hks fcd because i know with the hks the new fuel cut will be at 17 psi does anyone know the limit for the greddy? is it the same as the hks?

greddy completely eliminates fuel cut from what i know... with hks you can stay on the safe side and adjust it to what you want it to be...

The max fuel CUT you can get with any FCD is 17psi. Home made, HKS, Greddy.... the max is 17psi. If you want unlimited fuel cut.... just plug the hose going to your boost pressure sensor. I personally think buying a fcd's is a rip off.

If you want to eliminate fuel cut, don't waste your money.

If you want to control it, get the HKS. The GReddy does the same as plugging the line to the boost pressure sensor, just at much greater price.

Personally, I don't think you should waste your money. I just built my own. You can do it for like $8 with parts from radio shack!

The only reason to get the GReddy BCC is if you want to eliminate fuel cut 100% AND retain the OEM boost gauge (which is worthless).

I guess you could also buy it if you are a brand whore and you need one more thing that says GReddy on it.

I would not run over 16 psi of boost with the factory TURBO with any intercooler.
With an upgraded intercooler and turbo, the skies the limit.

Like J&H said... I wouldn't boost over 16psi on the stock turbo. I wouldn't worry TOO much about the stock intercooler. I'm boosting between 18-20psi on the stock intercooler.

ishcoleobo arent you running the ats ct27? wut is the difference b/w the ct27 and the upgraded ct26 because i know that on a upgraded ct26 the exhaust side is wut limits the power. because the turbo i have is a t04e 50 trim compressor with a 60wheel and the exhaust side of the turbo is a ct26 that has been clipped and bored out to fit the 60wheel. would that be considered a ct27 or a upgraded ct26. because on atsracing.net the ct26 upgrades have the same compressor sizes as the ct27 so can someone explain the differences to me.

CT27 has a bored out exhaust side. I don't know if what you have is the same as what ATS did. Does your turbo hold power until redline??? Thats my favorite part

yeh im holding power all the way to rredline. im feeling the most power b/w 4000-7000 in first gear. lag in 1st ends around 3500 then it starts boosting and from 4-7 grand im in boost and then in the rest of the gears it pulls like a mother. the guy who built me the turbo said it was good for a whp over the stock and it should be running on average 15psi . im running 10-12 rite now so im under wut he told me to run it at and on a roll the boost responce is amazing. its not that impressive off the line but on a roll rite now im very impressed with it. 2nd 3rd and 4th gear the car pulls like crazy. and the high way i pulled 6 or more cars on a s2000 from 60-130 (i dunno if he was just a bad driver) and then i slowed down. wut ever the turbo i have is i'll just call it ct27
