I've seen some EGR block-off plates for the mr-2... but I'm sure you would have to have the engine tuned after you remove those components....
as for the sensors... I'd think they wouldn't be recieving the correct info and hence make the car run bad.... but I am not sure if you can simply bypass them. I'll take a look in my fsm and get back to you.

My engine has no EGR.... I don't think it will really make any difference in the ECU. People swap usdm and jdm ECUs all the time. I wouldn't worry about tuning for the EGR....

I forget who.... but someone does make block off plates. Not exactly sure what they block off.... becuase your new intake manifold might actually already accomplish that.

we've got such strict emissions testing here that I wouldn't touch my egr system with a 30' pole... sorry for the lack of info provided. the block-off plates I've seen are for the usdm manifold I guess.

right righ right.... I am having my car registered in a different county, (brothers land) and they have NO emissions testing there. they are finally making diesel powered vehicles (cars\ redneck trucks\semis) pass emissions here in TN.... there are all kind of large trucks here that just pull up beside you, then redline thier engine to blow all kinds of super-black Stank smoke all over you car.... makes me want to shoot out their tire or something.
