Im new and heard stories but am still questioning.

hey i just got my first MR2. ive been waiting for so long and finaly got one. Ok but for the question, how hard is it to drop the engine and do i need a lift. my engine is locked up and instead of having a shope, i would like to do it my self. i know my way around an engine so im not worried about working on it. Just getting it out and in, i have no lift.

Block up the fronts, jack up the rear, use the lift to keep your engine from becoming a victim of newtonian physics, and lower that sucker down enough to slide it out from under the rear of the car. This is the most widely used method, i was looking into doing a swap myslef.
