MR2 rear offset and backspacing?

whats up people? I was wondering if anyone knows what is the offset and backspacing for an MR2 Turbo with 17x8 wheels. the wheels im looking at have a +38 offset, will these work on the rear of my MR2? thanks alot.

from my research that should b fine but i don't think it would b as flush as it should but close enough

anyone that has put 17x8 on their MR2 in the rear, what is your offset. can anyone else give me a more assuring response than "it should be close enough," im not a shade tree mechanic like many people out there.

If the question is simply, will they fit? The answer is YES! A 17x8 +38 will fit nicely without any modiication to the fenders. a 235/40 tire will fit nicely, but you could probably squeeze a 245 or maybe even 255 on there without rollin the fenders.

If you're asking how will it look? It will look slightly tucked, but not too too bad. That's probably a pretty good size to go with if you don't want to roll the fenders.
