don't bother upgrading the ct-26.....everyone that does it....never ends up happy....look into a ct-20b or a ct-27 from ATS instead....what other supporting mods do you have??...

Thanx for the info. I was planning on putting the CT26 on because i was told it was the turbo that came stock on the JDM version of the car.

Ive only had the car for 2 weeks and all i have done to it so far is some new sticky Dunlops and a K&N intake system. Future plans are custom exhaust, upgraded turbo, dual stage blow of valve, and boost controller.

Ahh... you have much to learn. First thing.... your car already has a CT26 on it. Before you look too much into an 'upgraded turbo' or a 'dual stage blow off vavle'.... read this... http://mrcontrols.com/primers/power.htm

My advice.... is to take a little time at http://mr2oc.com and read all of the stickies in the MKII section, noob section and 3sgte section. By the time you have crammed your head full of all that information.... that last post you made should change dramatically.

Have fun... if you get stumped let us know.

EDIT: Once again.... what are your power goals?? Maybe we could point you in a better direction. What do you want to do with the car??

TVIS is like having clever valves... like VVTI

the primer just tells you how to install the part(s) needed to tune the TVIS... youll most likely have to pay for dyno tuning after installation.
