My new mr2
I previously owned an 2001 yamaha R1, had it for a while, very fast , fun toy, Ever since i bought the bike i always said i am not going to keep it for ever - don’t want to kill myself so last month i sold it and was in the market for a sports car - i always loved the mr2 of the engine behind your ears setup. But still i test drove a lot of other cars, FTO (the tiptonic gearbox lags too much) Mr2 Mk1 , mr2 turbo - fast but didn't want turbo which was a 90 model. plust after an r1 i wasn't after speed anymore. So after looking for 3 months i finally saw a 97 model, which was mint. I had to have it it was the one. I still remember when got it i was even more excited then the bike i had a headache for 1 whole day straight from the joy of getting this model.
here are some pics of my mr2 its a 97 bathurst model N/A Australian spec. Just changed the rear tires on it, sparks, oil, fuel filter, and air filter. My next plan is to do a k&N intake....
