Canada Question about Border CF Hood

Hey all, I'm looking into getting a complete Border kit, including the CF Hood (Hood with the two slots). Anyhow, I'm wondering if it rains, does the water just go down into the slots of the hood and down under the hood and sits where that rubber cap is? I know you can remove water from pulling the plug, but I'm not sure how its going to work cause I planned on putting amplifers under the hood. But if water gets in there that could be a problem.

Amps in the frunk or the hood, hate to say it, but i think its got to be one or the other. you could just not get the hood (maybe an OEM style CF hood) with your kit.

The border hood does NOT allow water into the trunk.
It empties out right in FRONT of the rubber weather stripping.
It pours out on the radiator ... you do need to remove the plastic trim anobe the radiator.

I have seen very cheap knock offs that DO empty into the trunk.
If you look at my hood, it is in the correct spot to avoid water in the trunk.

I've been looking around, they seem to be hard to come by. Same with the sideskirts and rear add ons.
But so far I'm thinking I'm going to get the hood from

http://www.extremeboost.com/aero.htm

any other suggestions?

I would not buy from Extremeboost, unless you were picking up the item directly from them.

I have the madpsi fiberglass border hood, their carbon fiber trunk and fiberglass 94+ spoiler. I bought everything pre-owned, but neveer installed.

The quality is fair and the fitment is not perfect. My understanding is that I have one of their earlier hoods and that the newer ones fit better.

there's a border "style" cf hood on ebay currently.. I think the cost totals $410 shipped... but its a no-name company...so you don't know what you're getting.
