full on rebuild

ok, well several months of contemplating a full 3rd gen 3sgte transplant from overseas Japan, and the thought of all the wiring work, etc. and not knowing how conservative my Japanese counterpart was in driving (ha) has left me with this decision. im jsut going to go ahead an fully rebuild my US 3sgte, ok so here is my list so far.
new pistons, high heat coating on top and moly on sides
Total Seal rings
HKS headgasket
New Engine Gasket set
New Clutch
New rod and main bearings
head job with heli coil for one exhaust stud (for the fifth damn time) and one for valve cover
3-angle valve job, new shims, stainless valves
lightened flywheel
ATS CT27
and maybe a street port

Now, my question to you guys is does this setup sound like it would be stout enough to make around 300 horse? also have i left anything out? would it be worth it to go ahead and go with JE Pistons? any other imput would be greatly appreciated

I'd go with a bigger turbo than the CT27, fuel mods and ems. You are going to need fuel mods for sure for 300whp... but if you are putting all of that money into your motor.... you may as well go for higher power at lower boost.
