Got a Brake Question

I have a 91 NA MR2 and just changed out the brakes and rotors on all four corners with cross drills and slotted rotors and Axxis Metal Masters. After changing out I thought it might be a good ideal to put new break fluid so I started at the furthest one and pumped new fluid in each wheel till I saw the new stuff come out. My question is I feel like my brakes are not stopping me at high speeds…. Does it take time for the pads to seat into the rotors? The pedal feels good and tight… Any thoughts?????
