what kind of wires did you use? turbo toyotas can be very picky with aftermarket wires. ive even heard of cars that wont even start with aftermarket wires, then once you put the oem ones on its starts right up. also i just had this happen to me, check the wire that comes off you pos side of the batter for corriosion from the fuse box.

in that case mr2trbo93, check the ignition components... distributor, d-cap, ignitor coil, wires, plugs.

when you say it's turning over... does it seem like it's turning faster or slower than usual?

what about your ignitor coil? since you have a '93 model (same as mine) the coil is inside the distributor... if you swap the wires and that doesn't help, try testing the coil. mine just went out one day right after I left the driveway... I was stranded 300 yards from the house! I pushed the car back (uphill) and tore it apart... changed wires, plugs, distr. cap, rotor.... didn't help a bit. so I thought I'd just buy a new distributor (last possible thing right?)... I get it home and pull out the new coil...swap it into my old distr... and bam! fired right up. -- keep in mind the parts stores will not accept a "tampered with" distributor...so be careful. I then put the coil back into the new distributor... and returned it. then I simply bought a coil..... I guess I could've said that in fewer words, but what the hell.
