Question AE86 offset rims for 85 MR? help please

can anybody tell me if i can use an ae86 rim to my 85MR2? i just wanna make sure before i buy an oldschool rims for my two. thanks

absolutely NOT. the lug pattern is different.

Im not sure about your exact case, but there are two (maybe more) different sizes for 4 lug. Same as for 5 lug, you can get 5 X 100mm or 5 X 114mm. anyways, you should be able to google it or something if you cant get a definite answer on here.

AE86 is like 4X1.25 or 4X 1.14
the AW11 is 4X100

geez, the adaptor (if you can machine a set or have them fabricated) would cost an exorbinent amount. not only that, but i dunno that physically it would be possible since the spacing on the 4X100 is equally spaced around a 'circle' and the AE86 spacing would overlap that 'base circle'. plus spacer/adaptors as such aren't always a great idea.

ok...sigh... i guess ill stick with compatible rims for MR2...but i really like an old school rims for my 2. im wondering where can i get those...

get a set of panasports or ultra lights. those are old school. you can also do a set of fittipaldi stars. those are old school. or some bbs meshies. those are old school.
