Speedo question

I have a 93 n/a with a 91 usdm turbo swap, and my question is how can I get the speedometer to work? I know I could use the mechanical cable to a certain point, but what happens after that? Or would it be easier to find a 91 cluster and go that route? any help is appreciated

The 93s have a sensor that sends a signal to the dash.
There is NO mechanical cable.

The 91s have a mechanical cable that goes all the way up to the dash.

You can't mix-n-match. Either you get a 91 cluster or you get the sensor installed into your tranny. I suspect a cluster is going to be much cheaper.

Do it right and go buy the speed sensor you need. There are folks all over selling those things. By the time you put in the older cluster and all of the cable, you might have saved some money, but you will have gone back in time to do so.

Yes, it's an N/A. It IS a 3.0 liter V6 though. Does that matter?

yeah it is a basic plug in (the cable is a bit tricky, but youll get it)... the rest are just wire clips that snap into place.
