Have you checked the p-side power windo LOCK button on the driver side?
There is a button there. If you push it in, it kills the p-side window (so your kids, if you have any, can't play with the window.

thanks I tried that though

I tried hitting the switch but nothing... U think it can be the master switch even though I know there is power before the switch???? I was told the passenger switch was good maybe its NOT and thats all it is??? maybe its not the master after all??? waddaya think??? I was actually told (in which i did myself) heard that even a routine continuity test can not really detect this type of switch????

Check the FAQ thread on this page it has a link to service manuals. Check to make sure you have proper continuity in the passenger switch first. The master and passenger are in series with eachother so you need both of them to work properly ( found this out the hard way ). Some parts of the switch are normally closed, some normally open. Not like your every day switch, but check it out first.

Also, a new passenger window switch from the dealership cost me about $40. o_O
