Japan MR2 Cabin Heat / engine lid fans

I have a 92' hard top GTS and the heat in the interior gets rediculous.obviously its the placement of the motor. is anyone else feeling the same heat issue? wud engine lid fans noticeably decrease the heat inside the car.

engine lid fans would do absolutely nothing for your interior heat.

Do you mean the car gets hot WHILE it is running/you are driving it? that shouldnt happen... any car will get hot if it sits out in the sun. I seriously doubt it is the placement of the motor... you have a heat shield and a whole bunch of insulation/metal/plastic between you and your exhaust manifold.

My black on black MR2 is hot as hell in the summer here (FL) + i have no AC

just hop in it and drive it... itll cool off

maybe check and see if OEM insulation is still there between cockpit and inside rear wall under the carpet lining...

gee...it must get pretty hot in the bahammas....unless u have a hole in the firewall...there should be no heat emitting from the engine that is transferring into the car....
